Choosing a destination or country to visit every year and/or each month it can be overwhelming if you don’t have an idea where would you like to go, visit and explore.
That’s why in StacePlores blog I like to share with my readers a destination guide every month, so that way the can choose their next adventure based in what they would like to do or even just a destination to add to their bucket list.In today’s post I’m going to share with you a traveler’s guide for this month. It’ll be helpful if you’re wondering “Where to travel in January 2024?”
Patagonia, Argentina
Where is Patagonia lovated? Patagonia is a region encompassing the vast southernmost tip of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile, with the Andes Mountains as its dividing line. The Argentine side features arid steppes, grasslands and deserts, while the Chilean has glacial fjords and temperate rainforest. Argentina’s famed RN-40 highway passes the pinnacles of Monte Fitz Roy and Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park.
Why visit Patagonia? In Patagonia, you can enjoy one of the best whale-watching experiences in the world. It is also home to the Perito Moreno Glacier (Argentina) one of the few glaciers that are still growing in the world. It has the biggest colony of Magellanic penguins (as many as 1.7 million… almost 1 penguin per human).
Zermatt, Switzerland
Zermatt, in southern Switzerland’s Valais canton, is a mountain resort renowned for skiing, climbing and hiking. The town, at an elevation of around 1,600m, lies below the iconic, pyramid-shaped Matterhorn peak. Its main street, Bahnhofstrasse is lined with boutique shops, hotels and restaurants, and also has a lively après-ski scene. There are public outdoor rinks for ice-skating and curling.
What is Zermatt known for? Zermatt is known throughout the world for its skiing, especially Triftji for its moguls. The high altitude results in consistent skiing continuously throughout the summer. Skiing in Zermatt is split up into four areas: Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Klein Matterhorn and Schwarzsee.

What is known for? Seville is one of Spain’s most popular destinations, home to some of the country’s famed traditions like flamenco and bullfighting. Also known for its history, as well as some of the most delicious tapas found in southern Spain.
