Perfect Itinerary to Enjoy of the Peak Leaf Colors in North Carolina
Hello everyone, in today's post I'm going to share with you my itinerary to enjoy of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain in North Carolina before it's too late to enjoy of the fall foliage. All the following pictures were taken by me, and all these pictures I took them 10/12/2025 for reference to enjoy of the beautiful fall colors.
Linville Land Harbor
Nestled in the beautiful High Country of western North Carolina, Linville Land Harbor is a well-established community offering an affordable and luxurious lifestyle for all ages. From young families to retirees, residents enjoy the perfect blend of laid-back mountain living and an array of recreational activities.
But like me, if you are not part of the community you can go and take beautiful pictures like the above one in the beautiful lake with the breathtaking background with all those beautiful fall colors.
Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a National Parkway and All-American Road in the United States, noted for its scenic beauty. Driving the entire 469-mile Blue Ridge Parkway takes at least 9 to 12 hours of driving time with no stops, but it's best to plan for at least 3-5 days to stop and enjoy the scenery, trails, and historic sites along the way. The Parkway offers numerous overlooks, hiking opportunities, and visitor centers, so a slower pace allows you to fully experience the natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains.
But like me, If you don't have enough time and you are just planning to spend a few hours in the mountains and want to visit the most gorgeous place in the blue ridge parkway, in my opinion, go to "Linn Cove Viaduct", click it to get the address.
Support Small Businesses
While driving to either of the above locations you are goin to pass by through small and local businesses. Support them, you won't regret it, specially those that sells bread, jam, cheese, butter, etc... I love their sourdough bread it's always a 10/10. Try to shop in the cute local businesses in Downton, Asheville & Blowing Rock. Also I will recommend 100% staying over for more than a day to have more time to enjoy of the beautiful mountain, slow and peaceful life. To book stays at hotels, cabins and more, click here!
