Best Cameras for Beginners

Best Cameras for Beginners

Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Photographers need to have good attention to detail when taking photographs – they need to be able to capture light and color and think carefully about all components of each image. However, they also need to be detailed in postproduction.

Photographs play an important role in everyone\’s life – they connect us to our past, they remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories.  But behind a good photographer there\’s always a good camera.

Nikon D3500 –Overall the D3500 is an affordable camera that is simple enough to not be intimidating, but features enough tech that a young photographer could grow into it. The D3500 probably won\’t be a \’forever\’ camera, but it\’s a solid place to start.

Fujifilm X-T200–  Has a good AF system and it delivers nice quality images and video. If you\’re looking for your first serious stills camera or you want to start vlogging, it\’s well-worth considering.

Canon EOS Rebel SL3– Excellent \’guide\’ mode for beginners. Wi-Fi with Bluetooth for image transfer and remote camera control. Impressive 1,070 shot battery life (CIPA rating) using optical viewfinder. Passable 320-shot battery life (CIPA rating) in live view with Dual Pixel AF.

Canon EOS M50– The EOS M50 is primarily aimed at beginners looking for a simple camera with powerful features.

Panasonic Lumix G100– Performance. It may be targeting vloggers with a bevy of video-centric features, but the G100 is also a highly capable stills camera. Its 20.3-megapixel sensor renders details superbly, thanks to the omission of a low pass filter. In good light, the G100\’s JPEGs are punchy and rich in contrast.
