What To See In Vietnam?
Hi everybody, hope you are having an amazing day. You might wonder: “Why travel is important? Why travel is good for you?” I personally would say that travel is the best form of education, it’s like a therapy, travel is my theraphy (you don’t exactly have to take a flight to travel, you can explore your own city). That’s why in this post I will write about “Vietnam”, while I was doing some research I found out the most of Vietnam posts or news are negative, that’s why in this post I will share the beautiful things and positive things in Vietnam.

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers and bustling cities. Hanoi it’s the capital of Vietnam. Vietnam is known as the land of the “Ascending Dragon” for its geographical shape on the world map. Vietnam is famous for: history, karst bays, food, northern landscapes, rice terraces, incredible caves, beaches, sand dunes and buzzing cities.

Cát Bà Island – is the largest of the 367 islands spanning 260 km² that comprise the Cat Ba Archipelago, which makes up the southeastern edge of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam. Cat Ba island has a surface area of 285 km² and maintains the dramatic and rugged features of Ha Long Bay. Is known for: Swimming, snorkelling, and diving are the most popular things to do on the island. Travellers can also enjoy a day of trekking, caving, and rock-climbing on Cat Ba Island, specifically at the Cat Ba National Park.
Hang Sơn Đoòng – Sơn Đoòng cave, in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam, is one of the world’s largest natural caves. Located near the Laos–Vietnam border, Hang Sơn Đoòng has an internal, fast-flowing subterranean river and the largest cross-section of any cave, worldwide, as of 2009, believed to be twice that of the next largest passage. It is the largest known cave passage in the world by volume. Its name, Hang Sơn Đoòng, is variously translated from Vietnamese as ‘cave of the mountain river’ or ‘cave of mountains behind Đoòng [village]’. As a solutional cave, it was formed in soluble limestone and is believed to be between 2 and 5 million years old.
Ban Gioc Water Falls – Detian Falls or Ban Gioc Falls is a collective name for two waterfalls on the Quây Sơn River that straddle the international border between China and Vietnam; more specifically located between the Karst hills of Daxin County, Guangxi, and Trùng Khánh District, Cao Bằng Province. The waterfalls are located 272 km north of Hanoi.
Đồng Xuân Market – is a market in the center district Hoàn Kiếm of Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally built by the French administration in 1889, Đồng Xuân Market has been renovated several times with the latest in 1994 after a fire which almost destroyed the market. Nowadays, Đồng Xuân Market is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the wholesale traders sell everything from clothes, household goods to foodstuffs.
The Hải Vân Pass – is an approximately 21 km long mountain pass on National Route 1A in Vietnam. It traverses a spur of the larger Annamite Range that juts into the East Sea of Viet Nam, on the border of Đà Nẵng and Thừa Thiên–Huế Province, near Bạch Mã National Park. Its name refers to the mists that rise from the sea, reducing visibility. Historically, the pass was a physical division between the kingdoms of Champa and Đại Việt. It is nowadays also used as a signifier of the climates of northern Vietnam vs southern areas, where northern regions receives 4 seasons whilst southern areas receives just 2 seasons. The twisting road on the pass has long been a challenge for drivers traveling between the cities of Huế and Đà Nẵng. Since the completion of Hải Vân Tunnel, traffic flow and safety have improved. The pass has been the scene of at least two of Vietnam’s most serious rail accidents, and at least one air crash.
In conclusion, Vietnam is a beautiful country that offers more than what we expect. There’s something for every one.
