North Carolina
Well, I live in North Carolina and being honest at the beggining I didn’t like it because for me it was such a boring place. But until I started college I realized that North Carolina offers more than what we see, it’s such a beautiful place, full of nature and kind people, in my opinion. So here in this post I will like to share with you some of my favorite places to visit in North Carolina (I’m still exploring and discovering NC so don’t judge, lol).
What is North Carolina?
North Carolina is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. The state is the 28th largest and 9th-most populous of the 50 United States. It is bordered by Virginia to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Georgia and South Carolina to the south, and Tennessee to the west. North Carolina is a state full of colors, plus it’s a state that offers you all seasons around the year.
Asheville
Asheville is a city in western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s known for a vibrant arts scene and historic architecture. The vast 19th-century Biltmore estate displays artwork by masters like Renoir. The Downtown Art District is filled with galleries and museums, and in the nearby River Arts District, former factory buildings house artists’ studios. I personally love “Blue Ridge Mountains” & “Blue Ridge Parkaway”, it’s a perfect place to relax and just enjoy of nature and take pictures.
Chimney Rock
Chimney Rock is a village in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 113 at the 2010 census. The village takes its name from a large granite outcropping located on a summit above the village itself in Chimney Rock State Park. Chimney Rock, the 535-million-year-old monolith for which the Park is named, is considered one of the most iconic sites in North Carolina. From its top, you’ll soak in the 75-mile panoramic views of Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure. I constantly go to “Chimney Rock” because how relaxed I feel while going there, in your way you can enjoy of beautiful views and cute small local businesses.

Cherokee
Cherokee is a town on the reservation home of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, in western North Carolina. At Oconaluftee Indian Village, the 18th-century Cherokee lifestyle is preserved via live demonstrations. In summer at the outdoor Mountainside Theatre, the drama “Unto These Hills” tells the tribal story. The nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park features campgrounds and Appalachian hiking trails. Honestly I enjoy a lot visitin Cherokee, it has a lot to offer is a really nice experience, you definitely will enjoy to take pictures, I personally love the Great Smoky Mountains!
Kings Mountain & Shelby
Kings Mountain is a small suburban city within the Charlotte metropolitan area in Cleveland and Gaston counties, North Carolina, United States. Most of the city is in Cleveland County, with a small eastern portion in Gaston County. The population was 10,296 at the 2010 census. I recommed you to visit Crowders Mountain, it’s really nice and you will do exercise because you have to hike.

Shelby is a city in and the county seat of Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. It lies near the western edge of the Charlotte combined statistical area. The population was 20,323 at the 2010 census. I have to confessed that I’m always in Shelby, I live nearby so… But I would love to recommend you one of my favorites place to visit in Shelby, specially in midtown Shelby, it is “Lily Bean Coffee”, they are so kind and fun you can really enjoy going for a coffee or a Nutella Frappe (my favorite) and just go for a walk and having a good time with yourself.
