3 Korean Fun Facts To Have In Mind
I know that I’m not the only one who has been obssesed with Korea for over 8 years. You might wonder why is that? The answer to that question is their culture. I love how respectful they are and their incredible food. Besides that, I love K-pop and K-dramas. I have watched more than 130 K-dramas with a total of over 160 asian dramas. One of my favorites is “Suspicious Partner” and one of my favorite actors is Ji Chang-wook. That’s why in this post I will share with you “3 Korean Fun Facts”. South Korea is on my bucket list, I’m still learning about such beautiful destination to later vitisit it, lol.
Skin Care
Koreans loves to take care of their skin, I love that. I have done some research about korean skin care, just wow. I have some korean skin care products and honestly the results are amazing. My skin have improved a lot, I’m impressed. Koreans tend to focus on prevention and getting to the root of skin problems rather than treating when necessary. In other words, they take time to care for their skin before actual skin problems occur. There’s something called 10-step skin care routine, it’s very impressive, It goes a bit like this: a balm or oil cleanser (1), a foaming cleanser (2), an exfoliant (3), a toner (4), an essence (5), an ampoule or serum (6), a sheet mask (7), an eye cream (8), a moisturizer (9), and then either a thicker night cream or sleeping mask or an SPF (10). Korean Language
Officially, there are two standard varieties of Korean in Korea: the Seoul dialect in South Korea and the Phyong’yang dialect in North Korea. The dialects are distinguished and regulated by each country’s national language policy. Regional dialects roughly correspond to province boundaries. Although Korean might be ranked as one of the more difficult languages to learn by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), it is by no means impossible. Hangul is the writing system of the Korean language. Hangul is made up of 14 consonants and 10 vowels, making it an alphabet with a total of 24 letters. It is the official writing system in South Korea and North Korea (where it is known as Chosŏn muntcha), and it is used by diaspora Koreans across the world.
Foreigners In Korea
There are 2,524,656 foreign residents in South Korea as of December 2019. These figures exclude foreign-born citizens who have naturalized and obtained South Korean citizenship; the total number of naturalized South Korean citizens surpassed 200,000 in 2019. In general, moving to South Korea is easy as long as you are prepared before your arrival. Although the country has a long history of not preferring foreign migration, those sentiments have changed as Korea has started to welcome more and more international companies through its borders.
