Explore North Carolina With This Travel Guide Made For You!

So this weekend I went to some places that I wanted to visit or revisit for a long time now, so in this post I’m gonna share with you those places to visit with family and friends with an honest review. By chance if you want me to share with you my exact itinerary including places to eat and more… contact me, it’ll be my pleasure to share it with you (plus, stay tuned for next blog posts). Let’s explore North Carolina together!

Places To Go:

Western North Carolina Nature Center (WNC)

@staceplores

What is the “WNC”? The Western North Carolina Nature Center is a 42-acre zoological park in Western North Carolina operated by the City of Asheville’s Parks and Recreation department. Until 1973, it was known as the Asheville City Zoo and was then renamed the Children’s Zoo and Nature Center. I personally enjoyed this place with my family, we walked for around 1hr walking through the “WCN” watching animals and enjoying how green it is. The mini zoo is so cute and entertaining. Really recommend it, a 10/10 to go with family and friends to enjoy nature and have a great time together!

Black Mountain Town

@staceplores

Black Mountain is a town in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 7,848 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. I really always enjoy walking through this beautiful small town full of color and small cute businesses. A really good place to go with family and friends to walk through the town to enjoy their restaurants and visit some vintage small stores, a 10/10. Is it worth visiting? Among its accolades in recent years, Black Mountain has been named the “Prettiest Small Town in America” by readers of TripAdvisor and for good reason. You can easily enjoy gorgeous views of the mountains around every turn and access numerous outdoor adventures within minutes of the downtown area.

Great Smoky Mountains

@staceplores

The Great Smoky Mountains are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. Is my second time here and honestly I can’t stop taking pictures, it’s so beautiful and peaceful, it makes me feel in another beautiful planet full of green nature and blue mountains. Recommended to go with family and friends but specially for those who are trying to enjoy nature a little bit more and photographers who loves to take mountains/landscape photos. It laso has trails that you can take and much more…

Lake Junaluska

Lake Junaluska is a census-designated place in Haywood County, North Carolina, United States, and a manmade lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. A beautiful lake to take photos, relax & enoy of nature!
