Hello everybody. How’s your day going so far? Hope you are having an amazing and incredible day. Well, I can’t believe it’s already 5th of January, it’s going so fast alredy, so crazy. But we are all excisted to visit new destinations this year, so I’m going to try to post every week different travel guides of different destinations around the world to visit this year, the year of 2023. By the way, I want to let you know all that I’m doing my best to write an article and publish it every Thursday so please be patient with me, I’ve so busy lately. So… let’s start with this: “Top Destinations In Colorado To Visit In 2023”.
What It’s So Special About Colorado?
Colorado, a western U.S. state, has a diverse landscape of arid desert, river canyons and snow-covered Rocky Mountains, which are partly protected by Rocky Mountain National Park. Elsewhere, Mesa Verde National Park features Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. Perched a mile above sea level, Denver, Colorado’s capital and largest city, features a vibrant downtown area. Colorado is noted for its vivid landscape of mountains, forests, high plains, mesas, canyons, plateaus, rivers, and desert lands. Colorado is one of the Mountain States, and is a part of the western and southwestern United States. Denver is the capital of and most populous city in Colorado.

Vail, Colorado
Vail, Colorado, is a small town at the base of Vail Mountain, home of the massive Vail Ski Resort. Set within White River National Forest, the town is a gateway for winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. It’s also a summertime destination for golfing, hiking and cultural festivals. Gore Creek, popular for fly fishing, runs directly through the town center. With world renowned skiing, diverse shops and restaurants, luxurious accommodations, friendly neighborhoods and breath-taking mountain views, Vail is arguably the finest resort destination in the world.

Boulder, Colorado
Boulder is a city at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in northern Colorado. To the west, the trail-lined Flatirons are craggy rock formations overlooking the city. Downtown’s pedestrian Pearl Street Mall includes art galleries, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The University of Colorado Boulder campus is home to the Fiske Planetarium and the Museum of Natural History, with zoology and anthropology exhibits. Why is Boulder so famous? Telluride, Colorado
Telluride, a former Victorian mining town in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, is set in a box canyon amid forested peaks at the base of a popular ski-and-golf resort. The town’s historic district houses landmarks like the Sheridan Opera House, a performing-arts venue originally built in 1913, and the Telluride Historical Museum, which showcases local history in a converted hospital built in 1896. Nestled within a box canyon in Southwest Colorado, Telluride offers visitors some of the best adventures, both on and off the mountain. From its legendary ski runs and numerous hiking trails to its epic fall colors and historic downtown, Telluride is the perfect mountain town for year-round fun.

Gleenwood Springs, Colorado
Glenwood Springs is a resort city in Colorado known for its hot springs. It sits in the rugged Rocky Mountains, surrounded by the vast White River National Forest. Glenwood Canyon is rich with wildlife and features Hanging Lake, with its striking turquoise waters. Glenwood Caverns are ancient underground caves. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has roller coasters and canyon swings overlooking the Colorado River. Crested Butte, Colorado
Crested Butte is a town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Downhill ski and mountain-bike trails crisscross the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. There are Nordic ski routes around town. The West Elk Loop Scenic and Historic Byway takes in wilderness areas like Kebler Pass, to the west, known for colorful Quaking aspen trees in fall. Shops and restaurants in wooden buildings line downtown’s Elk Avenue. Crested Butte, known as “Colorado’s Last Great Ski Town,” is a place where skiers and snowboarders revel on Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s thousand plus acres of terrain ranging from beginner and intermediate groomers to the extreme glades and steeps its best known for.
