3 Best Destinations In September 2023 To Visit
Hello everyone! In today’s post I’m going to share with you some of the best destinations to add to your bucket list or some of the best destinations you can visit in September 2023. Deciding a country to visit sometimes it might be difficult, because most of the times you are not sure which country you would like to visit first. That’s why in this post I’m going to share with you some options to have in mind if you’re planning to have a trip this month.
Santorini, Greece
Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles. Why visit Santorini? Its wild volcanic landscape, rugged cliffs, wild nature, and beautiful shores, combined with its rich history and traditions, make the island the gem of Greece.

Whitsunday Islands, Australia
The 74 Whitsunday Islands lie between the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia, and the Great Barrier Reef, a massive stretch of coral teeming with marine life. Most of the islands are uninhabited. They’re characterized by dense rainforest, hiking trails and white sand beaches. The town of Airlie Beach on the mainland is the region’s central hub. What is so special about Whitsunday? The proximity to the Great Barrier Reef means the Whitsundays are a mecca for sailing, diving and snorkelling, and there are plenty of opportunities to tick off some bucket-list worthy activities like swimming with turtles or flying over famous Heart Reef.
Sequoia National Park, USA
Sequoia National Park is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park in California’s southern Sierra Nevada mountains. It’s known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the General Sherman Tree dominating the Giant Forest. The underground Crystal Cave features streams and striking rock formations. Moro Rock is a granite dome offering sweeping park views. Nearby is the Tunnel Tree, a toppled tree cut to accommodate the road. Why visit Sequoia National Park? Home to some of the tallest trees in the world, Sequoia National Park is a humbling place to visit. With the park’s magnificent trees towering hundreds of feet above you, it’s easy to feel small in comparison.
